Negatives: Receptionist that checked us in wouldn't disclose his name or show ID after we'd provided our ID to him as requested. The only was we could possibly ID him was by his red shirt, or what appeared to be a watch on his left wrist, or by what was prominently shown on the underside of his right arm that looked like an ID. He made us scared when we suggested using that as his ID and said it was his religion. I didn't realise it represented his religion, it just looked like a sequence of numbers. I don't think it's safe for customers for it to be visible while he's working unless he wears an official ID badge on his shirt to percent confusion or highlights upfront that it's his religion and that he'll take severe offence to people who confuse it as a form of ID. The tap wasn't working properly, it was squirting. The advertisement showed that it had a pool, but he said it was closed and couldn't say when it'd be working again. He said we could use of it we really wanted to. So I asked who would be responsible if we got really sick from the water. Isn't that false advertising? They seem to still be suffering from covid-19 financial woes since they still pay about that in their advertisement, or just using that as an excuse to not bother fixing things. Motel 6 is a large chain after all. Their free wifi was terrible, it kept cutting out frequently.
