Superb
Positives:
They verified that I did not want a smoking room before checking in because they claimed I reserved a smoking room. Coffee was fine.
Negatives:
The sink stopper was disconnected so I had to lift it out of the sink to drain water. Sheets seemed dirty and one pillow had a stain on it. Bathtub had loose dirt inside it. During checkout, staff was very pushy about scanning a QR code to provide a Google review.

Positives:
It was nice they had a pool. My children loved it and had a great time there. The motel is basic, but good enough to spend a night. We brought our own breakfast, but there was coffee available and it was pretty good as well. The lady at the check in was very kind and when she saw we are at the pool she made an effort to come and offer some pool towels. Highly appreciated!

I have stayed at this motel many times over the last few years - I have family in nearby towns and the location is easy to get to from all necessary highways. I drive as well as fly different times. The staff were very responsive to my questions and requests. The pool was open for my son and granddaughter, which was a nice surprise, since it has been closed during all my previous visits.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the facility has deteriorated just in the last few months. My previous stay was in November and it was pleasant as all the others had been. For this stay (May 9-12, 2024) I had requested a specific room months in advance and was told the room would be available to me. When I arrived, it was not and I was placed in another room much farther away, which was dirty (floor, bathroom, holes in the wall) and there was a roach roaming around the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable with misshapen pillows and I was in pain most of the night and hardly slept at all. I asked for a different room for the next 2 nights and was placed in the room I had originally requested, but would not have been if I had not asked. That improved the stay and I was more comfortable, but the daily room service has also diminished unacceptably. No one came into my room even to replace towels or take out trash until I asked.

Motel 6 in Hannibal, Missouri is a diamond motel in the rough to me. For years since childhood I have visited Hannibal, Missouri because my Mom was born and raised and now buried in Hannibal, Missouri. I have stayed at a few places but May10, and 11,2024 by far was my best experience at a Motel in Hannibal, Missouri. The room was spacious, very clean, modern and accessible plus comfortable to the maximum. Thank-you Motel 6 for a wonderful stay!
