Positives: The housekeeping staff was always very helpful and attentive. Check-in went smoothly and I got in a bit early, which was great.
Negatives: I was overall disappointed with the front office staff. A minor start, but on my first day, I asked the afternoon front desk associate for some extra hangers while I was gone. They weren't delivered when I returned hours later. The next day, I asked the same associate if it'd be possible to extend my stay by one day. He said he wasn't sure but wrote my information down for the manager to call me about it. I was never contacted about this and didn't get back until later that night. Upon return, I asked the front desk associate (possibly the night auditor) about extending my stay. He said I had to check with Booking.com about this. I told him my Booking.com stay/contract was ending in the morning and if it was possible for the hotel to just extend the stay on its own behalf. He seemed confused by this and again said to just check with Booking.com. At this point, I was rather annoyed that this usually simple request wasn't able to be taken care of on two occasions. The next morning I got a text informing me about express check-out procedure. I replied to the text about the possibility of extending. I got a response stating that they'd be happy to take care of this and that I'd just have to go down to re-check-in. The front desk associate was expecting me and she was very helpful and took care of everything. She was the only one I encountered at the front desk who was cheerful and also did a great job. The doorman/bell staff was very disappointing. I don't believe I was greeted once by them and they opened the door maybe 2-3 times the entire time I was there. I can live with all that. However, when I was checking out and exiting with two rolling bags, the bellman (standing just feet from the door) didn't acknowledge this and didn't get the door. He was on his phone. The corner of the door scuffed my shoe upon exiting. I didn't say anything at the time, but this laziness and lack of awareness really pissed me off.

Positives: the location
Negatives: We paid extra for the deposit but we never got our money back. They told us they will send our money back in 5/6 days but they didn't. We tried to talk with the Hotel, but never replied to our emails or through Booking.

Positives: Location was good. Close to some good to some good places to eat and drink. Walking distance to the Metro.
Negatives: Hotel was old and showing its age. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Metal door frame on bathroom door was rusted away. Carpet was so dirty you really couldn’t see the pattern any longer. The heater/air conditioner had the wrong air filter and it was clogged with dust.

Negatives: Someone (probably from cleaning facilities?) came into the room without knocking around 3pm. It was a quite terrifying experience and the room was already cleaned when he walked in. We felt very uncomfortable. But everything else was good.
