The Riverwalk Gateway is a fun and fascinating place to visit. Here, Chicago's largest work of public art yet depicts the city's history over 28 narrative and decorative panels. From the Gateway you can enter the Riverwalk itself, which takes pedestrians along the river and through Chicago's downtown area. Dogs are allowed on the Riverwalk and on Lakefront Trail -- jsut make sure they're leashed and friendly.
