Negatives: Room overall was a bit dirty (carpets, counters and bathroom)

Negatives: We didn't like anything about this property The main entrance was blocked off with no reason and no access to the lobby which left No accessible parking for two disabled people who had to unload and walk around entire building to gain entry. Staff was unapologetic. Smoking was allowed right at the one entrance left to the hotel and my partner is extremely allergic, when trying to access the only door, a man was leaning against it smoking, the staff were reluctant to ask him to move and when they did they apologized to the man profusely for asking him to move away from the door while smoking..no regard for others health or welfare and no apology to us or even a smile. Room was noisy and smelled of extremely strong cleaner which was hard to bare. Room cleaning apparently also starts at either 7 or 7.30am as it was very loud with carts up and down the hall and people chatting, whistling and laughing, all before 7.30am. Very uncomfortable stay Packing and leaving was the same with having to cart everything around the building, no staff or explanation for the taped up lobby entrance again, we are both disabled and this was not enjoyable

Negatives: Breakfast was a nonevent, pretty dirty, tables not wiped & nothing refilled. Relegated to the basement

Negatives: Could have done with more towels. Some stained spare pillows in the cupboard were a bit off putting.

Negatives: The road noise was terrible, even with the double glazing. Trucks use the trans Canadian Highway all night and our sleep was very disturbed by them. The 50CAD taken on check-in 'for incidentals' was unnecessary and annoying, especially as it takes up to a week to be refunded.
