The floors in the hotel were so dirty my kids walk bare foot usually when we're inside and there feet turned black. We washed there feet several times during our stay. There was a party in the parking lot very loud cars in and out small children out with these amazing parents partying in the lot. VERY LOUD! We had to wake up at 5 to get ready for my daughters gymnastics competition to be there by 7. My husband stayed up until 4 in the morning looking out the peep hole as someone tried to get in our room. I will never stay here again as there seems to be no rules. Most of the people didn't have a room there and I was a paying customer. Absolutely ridiculous! I had a 14, 12, and a six year old that did not deserve to be disturbed as they were. And scared cause of all the loud commotion. Front desk person was outside on the bench on her phone and seen what was happening. All started about 8 to 9 at night and continued til about 4 am.

The front desk worker was extremely nice.
Negatives:
The fact that our door batteries ran out and we couldn’t get in our room at 9 pm. We finally got in after we wiggled and wiggled the handle. The next morning we walked to the breakfast station and got locked out of our room with the batteries not working again, after we were told by the front desk someone would work on it that night. We stood outside for 30 minutes waiting on maintenance to come. Nobody knew what to do to fix it and even suggested breaking a window or the door so we could get in. Very unprofessional.

Room was dated and furnishings were in disrepair. Floor was filthy. I walked bare foot from the bed to the bathroom and back and my feet were black from the dirty floor. I wet a towel and scrubbed the floor.

The free breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed it too.

The room was HOT and would not cook properly. Lamps didnt work (except bedside one). The door had to be practically kicked open. Some outlets did not work.

The location is why we chose the hotel. We went to a show at the saenger theater just a few blocks over.

There was hair everywhere. Cobwebs in the corners. Dirt on the floors, I was bare foot and had to keep wiping my feet off before I could even get into bed. The room was not a non smoking room like we had booked. It smelled awful. Lastly my eggs were cold

My Aunt and I were staying here for one night as we were about to board for a cruise. The only thing that I liked about this hotel is the proximity to the cruise terminal. However, there are multiple other hotels surrounding this hotel that I would much rather have selected.
Negatives:
We can start with the fact that the facilities were very dirty, and did not appear taken care of. I accidentally dropped a piece of candy on the bed, and chose not to put it in my mouth due to the cleanliness of our room. The air-conditioning unit is practically on the ceiling so you have to get up on a chair to even adjust it not to mention the air coming from the unit wasn’t even really cold even with it being on the lowest temperature setting. Our room didn’t get to a good temperature until we woke up the next morning. I very much contemplated leaving and going to another hotel. Just about 30 minutes after walking in the door, let me just advise. I am not one to leave negative reviews however, this was just the line for me. Now let’s discuss the shower amenities, very much a joke. It is just a stand in shower no real divide between the shower floor and the regular bathroom floor. Tiles are cracked, very unclean, walls were visibly dirty. We even chose to wear our shoes while in the shower. We were called by facility staff towards the end of the night indicating there was an issue with our payment. That is all fine and well as I had to get a new debit card due to fraudulent charges and my new card wasn’t the card listed on file with Booking.com. We decided to just hunker down and order DoorDash since it was just for one night upon waking. The next morning were getting ready for our trek to the cruise terminal as we were getting ready. There was a very rude attendant knocking at our door requesting payment at this time, I was in the shower and obviously couldn’t leave the shower immediately to go make a payment. We advised that as soon as we get finished getting ready we will certainly be there to pay. It wasn’t 15 minutes later, still getting out of the shower we had someone else knock at our door, requesting us to come down for payment.

The room was not very clean. We found something sticky on the counter. The microwave and refrigerator didn't work. The towels had stains and we found hair in the bathroom.
