The room layout was odd - bathroom sink and mirror in the room, not the bathroom. Front of hotel overlooks the train tracks. Loud freight trains continue through the night

Positives:
Loved the spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds and overall fantastic stay. Clean and very friendly staff welcomed us. Parking was easy, right outside the hotel and we were allowed to bring in our precious senior dog. Our dog is a huge part of our family so it was amazing to find such a nice hotel, also welcoming pets.
Negatives:
Honestly, for our stay, I didn't find many downfalls. The only thing, is that many hotels haven't upgraded their TV's yet to have for example Chromecast or Airdrop functions. That would be super, especially when travelling with little ones :)

I am incredibly dissatisfied with the service I received from the staff at Hyatt Place. During my three-night stay in March 2024, I was charged twice for my accommodation. Despite contacting them four times to resolve the issue, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response.
During three of the four calls, I was assured that the refund would be processed back to my card. This assurance was first given on March 13, 2024. However, during the fourth call, I was informed that the refund had been issued by the hotel several weeks ago and that I should have received an email confirmation on their end showing the refund was processed.UNFORUNATELY, I NEVER RECEIVED SUCH AN EMAIL, NOR HAVE I BEEN REFUNDED FOR THE DUPLICATE CHARGE.
I am now left with no choice but to dispute the charges on my credit card, a process that could take up to two months to resolve. This situation is incredibly frustrating, especially considering I was wrongly charged an additional $537.20.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
I WOULD GIVE A RATING OF 0 OUT 5 IF I COULD.
