Positives:
Simple breakfast offerings but something for everyone: eggs, sausage, waffles, bread and bagels, fresh fruit, cereal. My room was comfortable and clean, everything in working order. Maid service was unexpected as I was only staying two nights and they were nice enough to come back later as I was still in the room at 10am. They swapped out used towels and offered to change the linens, which I declined. Good location near Old Poway Park and many restaurants.
Negatives:
I found trash on the grounds each day, and the outside trash can in back was filled.

A good price for a comfortable room in a good, quiet location.

My reservation was cancelled without anyone calling me. I then had to look for another place farther away. If I could have been called that would of eliminated the problem and my stay may of been great.

Looked like blood droplets on the bathroom door there was a hole in the bathroom filled in with toilet paper there was a in the room itself also filled in with toilet paper under the bed was dirty not filthy but you can tell it had not been cleaned under the table itself that the TV was on needed to be dusted and when I tried to upload my photos it takes me back to start so I can't upload my photos that I had taken there was a drug overdose there so I had the police vehicles flashing red and blue lights in my window for 5 hours when I checked in the stop checking me in seeing what room I was in and looked up at me and gave me a weird concerning look I got very uncomfortable about that I don't know if they were doing construction but there was a constant hammering on one of the walls in my room
