The gentleman who checked me in was not really friendly, as if he was bored with an elderly, non-business, single reservation. He was in a hurry to give me directions and there was no one else waiting to check in. Also no glasses in the bathroom and difficult time reaching the front desk from my room - the line was always busy.

i still don't understand the weird "pre-authorised" payment. i did a pre-authorised payment when i checked in, but i paid another bill when i checked out. they said the 'pre-authorized' payment would go away in some days, but this short-term duoble pay still eat out my credit card balance. really weird. i thought 'pre-authorised' payment was for adjustment while checking out... really inconvevenient system....
