Positives:
Having a balcony overlooking the bay was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle drivers were very helpful and accommodating. The hotels location was wonderful.
Negatives:
We did not like the bathroom layout. The sliding door didn't give much privacy and wouldn't stay closed. We both thought the coffee in the room was awful.

I paid for a harbor view room. When I checked in I was told that I could chose between a room on the 3rd floor which did not have a good view or a room on the 14th floor that was next to the elevator and I have the noise of the elevator going up and down. I wanted a room with a view so I chose the 14th floor with round the clock elevator noise. This was my first time staying at a Wyndham hotel and was very disappointed by what I was presented with as soon as I checked in. Will not stay at a Wyndham again!!!

Property is in a good location in downtown SD and has a good amount of parking.
Negatives:
Property is aging and needs updating. Carpet is old and crunchy, bathroom is kinda icky and could use a refresh. Some fresh paint and brighter lighting would transform the space. Expected better amenities for the price.
