Positives:
The Hotel Croyden was an amazing value! I was actually shocked by how excellent the service and facilities were for the cost. The location, staff, rooms, restaurant were all outstanding.
Negatives:
The wifi could have been faster, but we weren't there for work so it didn't matter much. Also, wish the 2nd elevator was in service while we were there.

Proximity to the beaches and restaurants was amazing! Very easy to get around when walking.

Very difficult to find parking and to unload our luggage. The road and building construction detours added to our frustration.

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly, proximity to beach is outstanding, and neighborhood is good. Room modern, fresh, and quiet. Pool was very pretty.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly.

No coffee facilities in the room. This is a very small negative as everything else was fantastic.

There is no room service from restaurant or if you are looking to get a cutlery.
Water bottle was not put in the room so I don't know if they provide.

Positives:
The location is great, a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. The room was a good size with 2 double beds. The room was clean and had an empty mini-fridge, good for storing food. Theres a nice Italian restaurant and CVS just up the road.
Negatives:
Communication was really poor. Before check-in we received a message to say that luggage storage was not available and early check-in would cost $20/hour. We queried this but received zero reply. Because we were arriving from a cruise at around 9am, we opted to hire a car to store luggage/have something to do. It turns out this information is totally inaccurate and we saw that guests were storing luggage and offered early check-in for free when we arrived. This lack of communication and the extra cost we incurred really tainted our stay.
