The ambiance and character of the hotel was outstanding. It was truly beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Beautiful, beautiful place.

We had a 2 bedroom Suite. (not cheap). Clean - yes. In less than stellar shape...yes. Both kitchen and shower faucets leaked. Microwave handle broken. Kinda off-putting. But we agreed that the overall experience was good.

I am physically handicapped and all of the elevators in the parking garage were out of order. We did not learn this until we parked in the garage. I reported this and asked to speak with a manager. We did receive complimentary valet parking after the fact

There was no shampoo, no towels, no hairdryer, no kitchen(as advertised in the 2 bedroom suite) , not even a mini bar or fridge, never refilled the coffee, no room service. Seriously a horrible experience.

Attended wedding and many guests stayed at hotel. Abundant seating areas and several bars to gather with friends. Love the rooftop pool and terrace.

This property is sooooo old. The pictures are very deceiving. The fridge is insanely loud and windows are not soundproof so you can here the busy streets. Also the 2 bedroom only has one bathroom. And the food is terrible

Excellent hotel
Positives:
I loved the history of the hotel and the location was perfect for the concert we attended at the Fox Theater. Several nice restaurants within walking distance.
Negatives:
I did not like the lack of service at the smaller restaurant in the hotel. When someone finally acknowledged us they told us it would be a while because of " kitchen fatigue". We waited for maybe 15 minutes and never even got our drinks so we got up and left. We didn't have time to go to the other restaurant in the hotel. It seemed much nicer and we weren't really dressed for that. We ended up eating popcorn at the concert. That was the only negative from the whole experience.
