The bath tub was dirty with soap scum and hair and I had to clean it. Bathroom floor also not very clean. There was an odor in the hallways and the bed linens also seem to have a not fresh smell

Disappointing. Not clean and made...
Positives:
My room was clean and comfortable. Though I didn't partake, several people were using the pool and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Breakfast was very good, with many options, including some healthy ones!
Negatives:
They were updating some rooms, which was a bit loud at times, but will only improve the guest experience going forward.

Spontaneity paid off!
Positives:
The location was closer to where we needed to go the next morning. The night time front desk person was very helpful. She came right away to show us how to turn the knob for the bathtub which was extremely tight.
Negatives:
Extremely tight Bathtub knob. Morning front desk person said she couldn’t give me the print out receipt when we were checking out, nor she couldn’t give me how much we were charged for the stay because we made the reservation through the 3rd party.
