Red Lion Templin's Hotel On The River

Negatives: The black mold in bathroom, waking up at 5:30am to stuff getting thrown into a dump trailer, the towels smelt like they were in a house fire. The lady working front desk in the morning was rude.

Negatives: No coffee machine in the rooms. Some bugs/spider webs. Not the cleanest hotel room.

Negatives: The staff was stretched and unhappy/unwelcoming. The first room I was provided was next to the pool. It was noisy, triggered my allergies and did not have a pleasant odor. The second room I was assigned was clean. The bed was comfortable. It also had an unpleasant odor. It was across the hall from house keeping, which made for a noisy early morning wake up.

Negatives: I Hotel is an old 70s era hotel that needs to be updated. Beds and Pillows are very uncomfortable. The hotel is very old and dingey. It just needs to be updated and refreshed.

Negatives: Only one charging station for Tesla was operating. This made it harder to access charging . The restaurant opened later Sunday morning due to mother’s day so couldn’t get breakfast for the family .

Negatives: A rowdy school group with teenage kids running up and down the hallways and bouncing a ball on the adjoining wall of our room for two hours was not ideal, or conducive to rest after travelling all day. Called reception and this was sorted out. Unfortunate to happen to us but we were still ticked off. Otherwise, a large and lovely clean room, and very comfy bed. Beautiful outlook over the river from bar and restaurant.

Negatives: However, the person who checked me out was a little less eager to help, although she did what she could while manning the desk alone.

Negatives: The bathroom light didn’t work The toilet was so loud every time you flushed it , also the shower was not installed properly and every time you moved in the shower it made a cracking noise so loud the down stairs room would bang on the floor . Even though it just the shower making noise . I clearly booked 2 queen beds and 2 rooms , when I checked in they first said they didn’t have a room for me , then when I showed them the confirmation paperwork with two rooms they told me they don’t know what the hell is going on and don’t have 2 rooms . I also ordered a crib which I had called in advance to also confirm that had one since I have a baby and have to have some where safe for them to sleep . They confirmed they did . Then when I got there they did not and the guy said “well I don’t know what the hell else you want me to do I said I don’t have one “ . Also there was no coffee pot in the room and the fridge was not cold enough and would not stay cold enough to put food in there only juice . The pool was so chlorinated that it made the skin on my legs burn when I started to get in . There was also no towels in the pool area like they said there would be . Breakfast is not included which I was aware of but the food at the location was not good . I called down to the lobby to see if there was some where close they could recommend for a kid friendly dinner . The guy said he had no idea and I should google where to go .

Negatives: We booked through booking.com a king room, when we arrived the desk help staff said no such rooms available they gave us a double queen floor level, we moved from that room to a second floor room which was better, they must be pet friendly which is why we moved so get a room that suits you. We have stayed here before and we don't hate it , obviously we come back but if you want a good room make sure you ask for it. Their rooms are hit and miss.
