For those without a car: While public transportation isn't right at the doorstep, there's a bus stop a block away. The hotel is also bike and scooter friendly.
Most importantly, the staff and accommodations are welcoming and well-suited for short stays.

worst motel 6 experience--not a good stay
Negatives:
Booked the room in the morning of the day we were arriving (booking.com) and choose to pay at the property. Got to the motel at 9pm and was told our room was cancelled because we were not there by 6pm (apparently they run your card at 6pm) and the card was declined because I choose the option to pay at check in--lucky they had an open room but were very rude at check in and my room key did not work--front desk lady threatened to kick us out because we told her the key would not work
