I got the issue resolved from my previous stay, come to find out I was double booked and was charged a night for no show on one of the rooms, but the refund finally hit my bank account

NEW MANAGEMENT, RULES HAVE CHANGED AS TO THE ENTRY KEYS. THE ICE MACHINE WAS BROKE AND THE BAR WAS NOT EQUIPTED FOR BUSINESS.

OVERALL I ENJOYED MY STAY,...
Positives:
Our room was oversold by Booking.com. Did not get the room we were promised. They gave us one room but others in my party had to make other arrangements. It was mom’s weekend so everything was booked. Horrible booking experience. Will not use Booking.com ever again.

Ok. Hotel had a weird smell and the coffee was the worst I have ever tasted.

Really happy with the price for what we got wasn’t disappointed at all about the room in general would happily stay there again if you’re ever in the area again

The pictures of the pool seem different than what was online at Booking.com while we never actually went swimming I was a bit disappointed of that also never could find a channel list in the room for the TV so that was a little bit of the inconvenience

This was a stopping point...

Separate bedroom from the main living area.
Negatives:
Understaffed. Asked for blankets and pillows for the pull-out couch so my kids could sleep. Asked the staff twice, but they never came. Ordered food from the bar and another staff member made a comment about how it's going to be a while. They called our room 10 minutes later to let us know the order is being canceled without much of an explanation. I got the impression that someone didn't show up or left early.

Understaffed motel with new coat...
Positives:
I like our breakfast BUT we stayed for 3 days and it was the same breakfast everyday! Scrambled eggs, hash brown nuggets, sausage, biscuits and gravy (disgusting to me). I've been going to Eastland for the last 5 years and it was never like this. Angel the kitchen at that time would have pancakes, sausage links, bacon and various items. But I was bored of same items for 3 days.
Fresh fruit good, need more grapes for yogurt especially strawberry yogurt good. Toaster items and sweet rolls fine.
Why don't they have the coffee dispenser any longer? My guess is customers would either burn themselves with hot coffee and I get it. The pump containers do work well for that.
Otherwise, bed was very comfortable as always. Pool was warm, that's a Plus.

Just the same breakfast for 3 days. No packs of oatmeal. Too bad don't make batches of oatmeal in a kettle.

Older hotel but, for the price, building wasn't too badly maintained.
Negatives:
They ran out of food at breakfast at 8am. The room of eaters was sharing one roaster of eggs. No one came to refill the other hot items, fruit, or the drinks (milk, orange juice) that were completely empty. They gave the pool hours at check in that night when we arrived, but then there was a senior citizen swim class from 9-11am that they didn't inform us of. Check out was 11 so my kids were extremely disappointed when we discovered this the next day trying to access the pool. There were several other families with young kids also turned away. Our room towels and sheets had pronounced yellow stains.
