The room was absolutely filthy . Here was pet hair all over the carpet . The room was not clean and the hotel clerk was nowhere to be found

The breakfast was excellent, multiple hot options, yogurt, fresh fruit.
The front desk staff were generally great, especially Cheryl who checked me in.
The location worked well for my purposes, close to the highway. There are a number of chain restaurants close by.
Negatives:
Housekeeping was nonexistent -- I was there 7 nights and no one came to my room the whole time, not even to empty the trash. I had to keep asking the front desk for supplies of in-room coffee packets (which they did provide).
The property is in process of being refurbished, with construction and updating ongoing. It needs it.
The semi trucks parked across the road sometimes had loud engine noise (running their A/C?) late at night and early in the morning, plus back-up alarms that woke me up at 6 am a couple of times. There was also construction equipment in the parking lot sometimes, also noisy.
