Booking.com arranged a hotel room for three people in Jasper, Indiana, USA. Our event was in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. The fellow at a Kentucky-based call centre tried his best to help us. There was nothing to be done. In fact the three of us had no choice but to sleep in our vehicle, filled with our luggage and two CPAP machines we couldn't use because there was no power at our camp site. The few minutes we might have slept were fraught with snoring from the CPAP-less users. We were to fulfill our volunteer commitments at a fundraising golf tournament for our local children's hospital. We were exhausted, sore, looked awful, had a long day under the hot sun and an evening reception, dinner and auction we couldn't miss - and didn't want to! The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge was the venue for the golf tournament and the evening event, and luckily had two rooms available. We took the cheaper of the two at $600+ for the night, which we could ill afford for many reasons, not the least of which was remediation for our recently flooded basement. If any charges appear on my credit card I will encourage booking.com to waive them. I look forward to their response to these compaints.

Was not very clean . I keep my shoes on all the time. People running in and out the back doors all night smoking and the door closer was broken, hanging on the door.
