Paying for something I didn't get

I didnt even get to stay because they were renovating and didnt even try to get ahold of me before hand. Drove 2 hours away from home just to spend another hour looking for a room.

Surprisingly the shower was the only plus side of the 1 night stay on a 2 night booking, checked out a day early.
Negatives:
Everything else, from the smoke smelling room in a non smoking one, the stained outdated so called "carpet". The useless pillows that smelled like someone else's heads, bed just out right sucked along with squeaking everytime you moved...remote on TV worked on volume only, had to manually control TV. Place wasn't cleaned, no trash cans in room..would have to say the worst experience in 55yrs of staying in motels & I've stayed in some sorry places.. Google maps couldn't even get you to the property, that's how obscure this place was..hand written signs everywhere of the rules on the property..it was ridiculous...
