The property, itself, wasn’t too bad…the area was ok

The room they put me in…127, was a nightmare!! There were bugs all over the place. I killed a cockroach, but there were all kinds of different bugs, like somehow they were getting in from the outside. I didn’t sleep at all the first night, and at 7am the next morning, I immediately told the property manager what the deal was, and were so nasty, told me I’d have to wait until 3pm to check into another room bc they didn’t have any available, and when i requested a refund, refused. I decided to look for myself to see if, they indeed, were full, with no vacancies, and was even more shocked to see that they were almost completely EMPTY!!!! They were just being downright nasty. I contacted booking.com, who then got them to agree to have the room ready by noon, so I waited until 1pm to return, only to be told that I had to check out and check BACK IN bc I smoked in a NON SMOKING ROOM!!!! I don’t even smoke cigarettes!!! The room smelled of stale smoke when I got there. I almost lost it at this point, bc I had wasted my whole day waiting on these incompetent,nasty, rude, spiteful hotel managers that know they can do whatever they want bc they will not refund the money…it will ultimately fall on booking.com, which is completely inappropriate. Please do NOT frequent this business.

After how bad it smelled in the lobby, we didn’t want to eat their food.
Negatives:
We got there at night so we had to use the checkin window. The lobby area at the window smelled like sewer. So bad we had to hold our noses. Another couple walked in behind us and said omg what is that smell?? And walked back out. It smelled so bad I went to shower as soon as I got to the room. The room needed an update. Floors nasty. The chair was worn completely out. Plugs in the outlets were so worn if you plugged anything in, it just fell out.
