Hotel employee checked us in and showed us some great customer service. It had been a while since we experienced someone friendly like her. Her helpfulness was natural and genuine. Being received like that set a positive tone upon our arrival.

Our room had two issues, the door lock was faulty and wouldn't lock, the TV remote wasn't working, but within a few minutes someone came to address each issue.we were great full for that.

The location was awesome, and the valet was very nice and quick. Mr. Kevin was respectful. He made you feel safe coming back in after a good time. I definitely recommend.

The bed was not comfortable, woke up with back ache the 2 mornings. The beds are quite small and it didn't really feel like a suite, but rather a double bed room. The rooftop bar attendant is very overwhelmed and serves people randomly instead of first come first served. There is no safe where you can keep your valuables. The safe parking is overpriced ($39/day) and whenever we stopped by there was no security staff, while that was the justification for that price. The other option is to pay $20 but there

Positives:
Perfectly located far enough away from the city center but close enough to walk. Also the street car was right across the street. Its been recently renovated I think the hotel seemed older but with updates. The amenities were nice. Bar is nice on both floors. The staff was very friendly and a nice introduction to New Orleans.
