I prefer a location where it's possible to walk to nearby stores, etc., but the location was convenient to the highway. The hotel lobby is lovely- nothing fancy but with a warm gas fireplace and super comfortable and cozy seating.
Negatives:
The breakfast situation was confusing. We had a free breakfast buffet which was very good, but we were presented with a "bill" on which we provided our room number and were asked to leave a tip. Waitstaff poured coffee and were quite attentive, but I didn't love being hit up for a tip for a free breakfast buffet. We left one in appreciation of the staff, but it was not the typical free breakfast that I've experienced elsewhere.

Negatives:
The bed was horribly uncomfortable, very hard. Not what I expect from a Hilton garden Pillows also very flat & not comfortable Comforter on the bed was frayed and old
