Comfortable beds and a good solid breakfast. Very close to what we were visiting for the weekend.
Negatives:
They put us in a room right next to the kitchen which got super load at 5am. We had to ask for a different room. We were able to get another room but had to pack up a whole truck load with no carts available to get us from the 1st floor to the 4th floor. Staff apologized but there was no real genuineness about it. Asked to be comped but was given every excuse under the rainbow. We stay with Hampton quite a bit. This was my 1st bad stay in many many years. Will definitely not stay there again.

The fact that you cannot open the window (never had such situation) and you have to live with air condition all the time. Room had a scent that was not great. Breakfast - very simple. The key did not work at the first use. The acoustics of the building - hard to accept, suggests cheap construction. You could hear everything in neighbouring rooms - walking, snoring, tv...

The shower curtain was too short. Water went out to the floor. High risk for fall. Shower rug was not long enough to capture the water. Also the position of the bed faced the window air conditioner which blew directly on to bed. The placement of bed was unusual than other hotels.

Room was very small. Claustrophobic!!!!! We had just come from a Hampton Inn in Huntersville, N.C. where we were in a huge room! I was expecting the same here, but the room was so tiny and the air conditioning was extremely noisy! Very disappointing!
