The location is close to EWR Airport, the Cruise Terminal for Royal Caribbean, and has several restaurants and the Mills Mall.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was the largest for any Embassy Suites I've stayed and I loved having a shower instead of a bathtub/shower combo.
Negatives:
The suite layout is very compact. I'm a so traveler and if I were traveling with a family it would still be tight quarters. As in previous posts, the furnishings are scratched, and the sofa was very uncomfortable and stained. I considered asking for a sheet or blanket to cover the sofa before sitting on it. The cost for one night was $343 which is what I would expect to pay for a high-end hotel—not an Embassy Suites.
Additionally, the pool, hot tub, and fitness center were all closed for renovations. Another disappointment considering the high price.

For the $750ish I paid for three nights I wish I would have been informed about all the construction going on especially when I’m trying to eat dinner. I understand that things need to be updated as I work in the same field but for the price it should’ve been fit and finished, couple hundred bucks less It wouldn’t have bothered me so much.
