Positives:
The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The plumber or maintenance man was very nice, professional and seemed efficient. The staff, except for one woman, was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very quiet during the day, despite the renovations going on throughout the floor.
Negatives:
When we arrived, we were told that there was only one baggage cart and the one that was available was covered with pieces of sheetrock and debris. We didn't like the fact that the laundry/ gym was not available as advertised. We did not like the fact that we were in the middle of a dirty renovation. There was constantly a shortage of towels and wash clothes. The heavy set black woman at the front desk told us to wash dirty towels ourselves, to add insult to injury, as the laundry room wasn't even available. Anytime we went to the front desk, during her shift, she immediately started to shake her head no before we could ask a question. She greeted us with mean and unwelcoming looks and tone. She was very unapproachable and seemed to hate being there. The room did not have the reclining chair as advertised. The shower rod was broken. The kitchen sink was leaking profusely. The kitchen faucet had a very bad leak on the side when used. There were missing utensils and not much to accommodate daily cooking. We felt uncomfortable to even ask the woman at the front desk because she was so unpleasant, so we broke anything that was missing from the room.

Hotel was very scruffy and dirty. Carpets were smelling and so many people of questionable characters loitering around both inside and outside. Generally felt very unsafe whilst I was there.
