The night desk person was fantastic!
We had been on the road for 16 hours, 6 of those stuck in extreme traffic due to a major freeway closure caused by a train derailment. It was a pleasure to deal with someone who was understanding and who went out of her way to make our check in experience quick and easy. She was great!
The parking area is completely fenced in with only one way in and one way out plus a security guard patroled the property every 30-45 minutes.
Negatives:
My only real complaint was with the room. It smelled heavily of dog urine, as though the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in a very, very long time. The entry door to the room had no seal and the automatic door closer was worn out. The bathroom doors (French door style) were a bit battered and hard to close and the A/C unit rattled all night and there was no small fridge in the room.
We arrived after 2 am and the hotel was at capacity due to the train derailmen and the number of travelers who had been stuck on the freeways for hours. Otherwise we would have requested a room change.
But the beds were comfortable and we were extremely tired so we made it work.

The staff at the facility were nice.

Room = carpet is old in the facility and needs shampooed
Breakfast = did not have breakfast at facility
Clean = the sink in the bathroom was cracked, the coffee pot was broken, there was no Kleenex and and no Kleenex holder, the toilet was dirty, everything was old in the room, the air conditioner did not work--it was hot in the room, it never got cool. The carpet was filthy.
The facility was dirty, so was the room we stayed in. Everything was old and broken.
There were homeless people at the corner street, a group of them with shopping carts. They literally were camping out. There were security guards at the facility.
