for personal reasons I left the hotel after <2 hours. I was told by hotel staff that I could be reimbursed.. After series of phone calls back-and-forth, I was informed by the manager that that was not accurate. I felt it was handled inappropriately

This was NOT a 3 star hotel. If I could give it negative stars I would. The room smelled, huhIt was dated, dirty, bugs in the room. Mold in the bathroom, stains in the old worn furniture. Bathroom hot water was instantly scalding and sink wouldnt drain.

Their airport shuttle ran to the airport for early morning departures.

It was not very clean. My fridge had leaked all over the carpet so the floor was wet. I called for assistance and waiting 45 minutes but nobody showed up. What was also given wrong information by the front desk about nearby grocery stores.
