The hotel looks like a ghost town… There’s a great lobby, but it’s simply empty.
there’s no bar or restaurant, which is something that makes a lot of difference.
the room was not bad, but the AC made an awful sound when working, the mattress was old, or seemed old because not only was “too soft” but also add “hole” where you are suppose to lie down.

Perfect location, central and close to landmarks.
They gave us a spacious room, comfortable and with a functional fridge on the 7th floor.
Much bigger room than average Manhattan hotel at this rate.
The staff is friendly and eager to help, special mention to Maria at the front desk, very pleasant.
Negatives:
There was noise from the street which is to be expected when in Manhattan.
The lobby which is elegant but out of use. There should be a cafe, serving breakfast or sth. Its a pity they dont make use of it.
Some coffee machine in the room would be helpful.

Dated hotel. We arrived and thought we entered a ghost hotel. Extra charge for facilities??? They didn't have any. Very expensive for what it was.

Positives:
The location of this hotel is excellent - 2 blocks from Times Square, and just off 5th avenue. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Our first room was quite dismal but the staff happily relocated us for minimal cost. The new room had a bigger bed (King) and a separate living area which was great.
Negatives:
Unfortunately the hotel hasn't quite recovered from Covid. There is no longer a restaurant or a bar and the place feels quite abandoned when you first enter. The decor is quite dated, it looks vey 60's, and I believe was a 'party hotel' in the past. Sad there are no more parties as the place is in a great location.
