Positives:
The breakfast set-up was fine. The location was a little loud and close to the highway but not terrible. The bed was fine.
Negatives:
The coffee at the buffet was bad. The furniture and carpet were really worn and need to be replaced . The closet doors were all rusty. There was trash outside the door to the parking lot. The worst part was that the drapes did not close all the way so the bright lights from the parking lot flooded the room. We finally pinned them together as best we could do that we could sleep.

I drove from Maine to Texas and back. The drive took 8 days and I stayed in eight different hotels. Homewood was the best. The location was convenient: near the highway, gas, Chipotle, etc. The breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable with a kitchenette. The room had lots of empty floor space to do yoga. The bed and bathroom were great. I will DEFINITELY stay here again when I pass through.

The first floor entrance off the parking lot near the elevators closest to my room was accessible without a key card. In my opinion it should have been locked and accessible only by hotel guests with room cards.
