Positives:
The location was perfect for my needs. There were retail and restaurants nearby, and access to highways was good.
Negatives:
The hallways were dingy, worn out, depressing, and rub down. One elevator was broken and the other one is slow and makes loud grinding noises.
The key card entry on one of the back doors (closest to the one working elevator) only worked sporadically, forcing me to use a door further away (which didn't always feel safe). The creepy front desk guy warned me that it only "works sometimes." So, if this is a known problem why isn't it fixed?
There were drain flies all over my bathroom mirror, and the granite bathroom vanity top was actually dirty. My hands were black after resting on it. I was thankful that i brought slippers because the carpeting looks nasty.
The TVs were a joke. Both were old and unwatchable because of static on the screens.
I was there for 3 nights and didn't have a single housekeeping visit, but on my last day they started banging on the door 30 minutes before checkout time (and interrupted a video meeting I was on).
The bed wasn't very comfortable - a weird combination of lumpy and hard.
It's also ridiculous that some form of breakfast isn't included in the rate to make up for the fact that this is such a crappy, worn down property.
This Sonesta also had a weird vibe with sketch people hanging around the parking lot. As a solo female traveler, I didn't feel very safe.

Great location. Nice place and a spacious room

Our sink did not work properly in our room.It was clogged and water would not go down.Told them all 3 days when we were there was never taken care.Of there was nasty crap coming up out of the sink. Also didn't think it was right that we pay all that for room. We get charged $5 for parking and and they charge you for anything you want if you want breakfast and it's a $15 extra charge if you want to Check-in early. All things that they should tell you on their website. I don't remember reading that but maybe I missed it. Also, the ice machines did not work.The whole time we were there.They did supply some ice on the second day and third day. Also, thoughts since the sink wasn't properly working and they did not fix it.They should have given me a discount on our room.Because that was gross to have that there the whole time we were there.
