The staff, especially Maria at the front desk wasn’t pleasant. We had to wait for hours for anything. We stayed 4 nights and despite requesting housekeeping, they didn’t clean or even replenish items. When we requested for coffee pods thrice and ended up having to go down to find out the issue, Maria told us that they were short staffed and hence couldn’t accommodate any housekeeping requests. Not my issue clearly. Was not what we paid for.

This is a complaint to management
At check in we were not informed that a request with the front seat needs to be made for maid service, so we got back to the room mid afternoon and found our room not made. We were informed by a very rude front desk manager that this was the hotel’s policy ( well a sign in the room would have been helpful).
Next we return in the evening and find this , I would like to attach a picture. One bed was made , the other was not.
I went back to the front desk and was again very unpleasantly informed that beds can not be made if there is anything on them.
Not ever have I ever had such nonsense in a hotel.
You might need to reassess your policies.

I originally booked a loft room months in advance. The day before the conference I was informed that my room had been changed to a regular room. I was perfectly fine with this as I did not need anything special. I assumed the cost would be significantly cheaper as well. After paying, not only was the room not less, it was actually a few dollars MORE each night.

Valet attendants were great, fitness center tiny but decent, good selection of snacks downstairs. Lots of room to spread out in the loft style room. They were able to accommodate my early check-in upon arrival
Negatives:
Cleanliness not the best. Someone left multiple dirty glasses of half drunk beers and cocktails right outside the elevator- they were there when I checked in and there when I checked out… gross. Everything in room covered in thin layer of dust, bedside alarm was sticky, extension cords provided in room were also dirty. Everything needed a good wipe down. Including the shower/tub …

Fireplace outside was comfy. Microwave in the lobby was a good so no need to always eat outside. Hotel rooms in the main building were decent. Gym did its job. The hotel works quite alright for a work trip.
Negatives:
The loft room that I had booked was very dusty and Sonesta failed to clean it properly. Moving to the regular rooms helped, the room was nice up there. It was at first difficult to deal with the front desk to sort things out and they just blamed me for having booked through "a third party" a.k.a. booking.com as if that was a licence to be unhelpful. (That changed after I reported the cleanliness issue )
The property did not answer my questions via booking.com before my stay, but instead send automatic messages where they tried to market more expensive rooms. I would double check what the destination fee is all about, whether that is included in the room rate and whether breakfast is included or how much they will charge for you in order to avoid surprises upon arrival.

Location to the arena and the fact that it had a bar restaraunt
Negatives:
The $50.00 fee they charged at checkin. Cant remember what the fee was called, and got $10 off food at their restaraunt and 2 bottles of water they said equalled $18!!!! So they get the money either way. Just another fee for them to add to parking, etc.
