The staff were attentive to our concerns. The woman who worked evening shift until 11 pm Saturday the 20th of April was a saint. A soccer tournament was taking place which resulted in a large of amount of children trashing the pool area, screaming and running the floor hallways, using foul language and set free by the adults who were clearly not interested in watching them. The clerk juggled complaints, obscene children, and housekeeping duties due to the children throwing the towels in the pool with a smile. The staff on checkout morning, April 21st, seemed disconnected and unaware of the happenings in the hotel. A clear balance of customer service in the various shifts is not present. The morning cook was awesome. He had a smile and demeanor that made the irritation of the sleepless night fade away.
Negatives:
Honestly, the main issues were the screaming children in the halls and preventing adults from using the pool/spa facilities were the only downers. The deal on booking was too good to pass up. I do believe that we will have to research further when we visit Tulsa again. A side note is a concern for the floors of the room bathroom. We passed on the concerns to desk staff. The shower curtain was way too short, resulting in a large water pool we cleaned after each use. The wall unit was also missing the vent grill. Aside from those two issue, we were pleased with the room. This was our first anniversary. It did not ruin it but it sure gave us something more to remember.
