Very close to the Texas Medical Center. Rooms are big and comfortable.
Negatives:
They didn’t clean the room and I asked so many times and even paid extra. The workers are not polite or gentle. They should make it very clear that the breakfast is literally just coffee and a muffin and not a breakfast.

I didnt stay here bc a family member had stayed a week prior and said she saw a few roaches in the kitchenette area. I lost $240 on a 2 night stay bc the room was a non refundable booking. I disputed and still have heard nothing back. Still had to book somewhere else so ended up spending $500 on a two night stay

I paid extra for larger room and king bed. It was very nice. Location was good.
Negatives:
Only 1 tiny waste basket for garbage and the front staff didnt know why I needed another.. No soap, paper towels in kitchen. There was a false fire alarm that went off for 15 minutes and firefighters came. The front staff were GONE. No one directed us about what to do or that it was a false alarm. We were promised breakfast and told when we got there only coffee was available. Their "shipment " didn't come. There is a Kroger and Aldis close by and they could have gone to Sam's Club or Costco to get the " muffins and breakfast bars."

Room was not clean. Really bad odor everywhere in hotel. Paint is very old and peelling. Far away from any convinience store. The room 148 has been smashed by police and was not locking correctly. I've not seen an hotel in that rough condition, even in Cuba.

We woke up with bed bug bites on us! This had never happened to us before, and most of the bites were on my neck, chin, and inner thighs. The hotel staff member, after seeing all the bites, said I would get a refund. It took me going through my PayPal and credit card company to eventually finally get my money returned. Both the hotel and booking.com kept saying I would get the refund, but they never actually sent it through for many weeks.
