The rooms were clean and met our needs for a three-night stay.
Negatives:
Did not have an extra pillow to provide when asked. We had to have our room key re-keyed on two different days. Also, the location was not great for our needs. It is close to interstates if needed.

This is our 2nd time staying at The Element Houston Katy. This hotel is very clean and well-kept and our room had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was nice touch and was very filling.
Negatives:
The pillows are very very flat so I would bring your own if that is important to you. Towels are very thin as well.

Positives:
Good location with a nice view to an artificial lake. Very kind staff, most everyone was welcoming and helpful.
Clean facilities, clean rooms. Everything is as per the picture shown in the website.
Negatives:
Location is nice, but when I arrived close to midnight (after my family) there were two cars in the parking lot blasting music with the doors open. No one was doing anything about it.
Sofa bed was barely usable. The mattress has springs inside that could be felt through the fabric and made terrible noise with minimal movement.
My room’s shower floor doesn't have good grip. Since the first 10-12” are slightly inclined, it becomes a trip hazard.

The hotel architecture was nice.
Negatives:
Sticky room floors and stained carpets, dog pee on hallways and lobbies. Breakfast consisted of cold eggs, potatoes and fake bacon that were seldom refilled, we ended up having breakfast at Denny's after the first morning.
