The location, price, and breakfast were nice.

We were given a room that someone was already occupying and the next room had damp sheets so we asked to move. They moved us back to the original room and there was no housekeeping done during our stay. Our key was also demagnetized at one point and we had to ask for it to be fixed.

I didn't stay here because the front desk person called me being very rude and informed me he was going to cancel my reservation if I didn't make it by 7 in which we were stranded due to a flat tire otw to my brother's funeral

The beds were very comfortable, pillows were nice and fluffy.
Negatives:
Shower stall, toilets lids were a outdated, turning yellow. You can tell the shower is old and starting to show signs of wear, same with the toilet seat.

Stayed two different times within a month, both rooms bathroom floor around toilet was not clean, coffee pots were dusty. Found pills under mattress in one room. Was not happy as I had my 4 year old son with me. And the beds are not queen like it says they are full.

I've stayed at several Laquita Inn over the years it is my go to hotel but this hotel was definitely not up to par, the chair in the room seat was sunken in you couldn't sit on it, the tub was old and rusted I had to pay a deposit the towel was stained.
Positives:
Location. Easy to find and close to restaurants and shopping. Very Quiet! Repair concerns were addressed quickly and efficiently! No issues with extra towels,etc.
Loved the soap (Dove) as I have sensitive skin and am unable to use most hotel soap. Also, I rode with friends and had to leave my car (after checkout) and management let me leave my car on the property for a few hours. Very nice folks!

Having to pay a $50 surprise deposit on check in. I was traveling with limited funds and didn’t know about the deposit. However, it was refunded quickly, probably 24 hours or less after check out.
Also, was expecting a hot breakfast and instead got Continental. Website should specify type of “free” breakfast!! But it was pretty tasty!
Bathroom was small and there was no space to dress privately! Maybe room needs to have a privacy curtain in the vanity area!
