We appreciated getting an exterior room with outside entrance to be away from noisy indoor pool/play/dining area (great for families!). Breakfast was good too. Very nice and informative staff at check-in. Loved being able to walk downtown and to the nearby (longer walk for some) ballpark for a youth tournament. Good lighting and many windows for natural light in room.
Negatives:
We booked through Guest Reservations portal and missed the high fees, probably resort-like fees for the pool and activity amenities which weren't important for us.

Fun for families-stay in separate...
Positives:
The set up is great. We were on the top floor so no one was loud above us. The atrium as they call it was awesome. The arcade, pool, and sitting areas were amazing. We would definitely go back. It was also a close walk to downtown, and the river is just right outside. Very nice location.
Negatives:
The bathrooms have low ceilings.

I didn't realize I was getting a room in the middle of a kids swimming complex. They moved me to an inside room, and their were a hundred kids playing in the atrium swimming complex until 11:00 PM. The screaming and music was so loud I couldn't hear my TV.
The tub lining was broken. The toilet flushing mechanism was broken and I had to take the top off to fill it with water again. The air conditioner was louder than my car, and after 11:00PM ran like an old Model A all night.
