Some stuff was outdated like there were no USB ports anywhere not even in the alarm clock and Also there were skittles and mentos that flew out of the fold out couch when I opened it.

Wish there was an entrance to the hotel from the Riverwalk level. I believe the only entrance to the hotel is from street level. In the suite, I could hear lots of doors closing. It would be nice if the doors had a soft close.

The breakfast was good and i thought the Texas State waffles were so cute and original. We could get coffee there any time of the day and for the most part the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect! We were a 2 min walk to the Riverwalk where all the great restaurants, bars and nightlife!
Negatives:
We had booked for the 6th floor or above, but unfortunately this was not available for us. one was not in commission and the other was not ready. The room was adequately comfortable, but i found a dirty face towel left behind on the floor in our bathroom. Found out toilet running:( The first tech had no idea and really didn't put forward any effort to fix the problem. Notified front desk again as we still had this issue. The second and different maintenance guy came and knew exactly what the problem was. He fixed it right away! I didn't like the fact that we paid pretty good money not to have HBO channels at all available for us?? Also, service could be more attentive.

Nice location. The place just needs to be updated and kept maintenance up to standard.
