Motel 6 Texarkana TX

Negatives: The hotel is very old. The lobby had no furniture. None. Not that I needed it but it was empty and so was behind the counter - looked like the place was cleaned out and new owners took over and didn't bother actually making it nice. There were some foundation/structure issues throughout the motel. The rooms appeared to be upgraded but only surface. The pillows are very old and cheap. My neck felt it the next morning. There are no actual blankets on the beds, just very thin sheets. The room is hot unless you run the air conditioner and when it is on, it is extremely loud and I froze because of the lack of covers but could not turn it off because I would get too hot. Towels need to be replaced with new ones. Took two to dry off. No amenities were offered. No blow dryer in the room. If you pick this motel based on price, bring your own blow dryer, blankets, towels, ear plugs and pillows - then you MIGHT get a good night sleep.

Negatives: Staff walked into our room at 9 am, without knocking

Negatives: Though the room was updated and comfortable, an chair would have been nice, the lighting was very dim at the bathroom sink, and the floor was filthy.

Negatives: Very uncomfortable! Beds ,pillows & chair were all uncomfortable . Didn’t shower because towels were dirty/stained & threadbare . Toilet tissue stuck in peep hole on door . Bathroom door needs paint & tub needs resurfacing ( stained & dirty looking ;rust spots)

Negatives: The sheets were stained but it was a quick fix when asking for new ones in the front desk.
