Workers began working in the hallway outside my door at 9am and a man was outside the window blowing leaves at 9:30 am for nearly hour. I would rate my stay 8/10 until both of these incidences then I rate it 5/10 due to the disturbance.

Nothing. Upon I arrival the door key to my first room would not work, they switched my room to 209. At approximately 5 pm, I began to hear hammer drills and saws in the room behind me. I went to lobby to ask what was going on and was informed they were putting in a public restroom in the room behind me to accommodate tradesmen for a $900k renovation. They said they would be done shortly-they weren't.
Negatives:
From 6-11pm the tradesmen were drilling and sawing. Trucks were backing to the window as the gutted the space between my room # 209 and #211, tearing the waste out through the windows. The tradesmen working were drinking and fighting loudly-I repeatedly reached out to the front desk and was given promises that they would be done shortly-they said all the other rooms were filled and they couldn't move me. I emailed management to memorialize the scenario and was ignored. The men continued drinking and later there dogs began fighting in the hall. I have severe ptsd and when they finally stopped at 1 am I couldn't sleep at all. The next morning they started again, more fighting in the halls. Smoke alarms.

Avoid at all costs. The Comfort Inn at Trolly Square is approximately 10% more expensive but is 1000% more accomdating.

Second (and last)time at this property. First stay a year ago was fine. Property is aged, but it was neat and clean.
Our most recent stay was different. Dirty. Night stands had crumbs on it, mirrors smudged, carpet soaking wet near window and peeling paint on ceiling. Night table lamps growing fur. Haven't been cleaned in a libg, long time.

Quite place. Rooms are ok and the bed is great.
Positives:
The bed was comfortable and the lady in reception when we left wrote my comments about what needed repairing in a book so hopefully these will be done.
Negatives:
We reserved a disability access room and were given an ordinary one. However, there were two problems with that room so ended up with a disability access room anyway. The bathroom door needed rehanging as it didn't close and the place where the shower head hung was almost coming out of the wall. The kindest thing I can say about breakfast is that it was basic. This place needs time and money spent on it.
