Comfortable room, good Crystal City location to get to various business meetings in DC or elsewhere in VA. Decent enough gym.
Negatives:
The television in my room didn't work, and couldn't be fixed. The air conditioner failed twice. The breakfast buffet wasn't very extensive, and despite operating a value system it couldn't be exchanged for items from the menu, even if a lower price.
On the last night of my stay the power was due to be turned off, severely impacting my work the next day. I was told there would be no refund, and should accept a bottle of water and glowstick, and move my luggage downstairs the night before. There was no refund offered, and booking.com have failed to deliver the one they promised either.

Positives:
The hotel is less than 10 mins walk from Crystal City DC Metro Station. The room is decently sized with two large double beds. The general cleanliness of the hotel and the room are both good. Good place to stay before an early flight from DCA. You can also store your luggage after check out if you want to explore the neighbourhood, such as visiting the Pentagon and the Arlington National Cemetery.
There are limited restaurants nearby, but there are good selections if you are using the delivery service.

Proximity to DC and that it was dog friendly.
Negatives:
The staff person who checked me in failed to point out that there was a planned power outage for Sunday morning which resulted in us leaving the hotel without showers. The staff person was wearing an earbud and his engagement was not 100%.
