Positives:
The staff was great. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was outstanding with lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Lots of shopping, also, for those who are into that. We used our room as a base for visiting historic sites in and around Richmond.
Negatives:
The bath was a bit small. Shower tub combo. The shower water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast was ok but not exceptional. Overall, no real complaints.

First night's stay was very noisy..Ice machine motor outside room and Room AC noisy sounded like we were in a construction zone. Had Dr. appointment next morning *& got very little sleep due to noise. Staff did move us to another room which was much quieter and had been remodeled but woke up to No Water in Room. Water had to be cut off due to problem with burst water pipe somewhere in building. Unable to flush commode or shower that morning. Staff did not offer bottled water or anything to ease the situation. No notification of No Water..woke up & discovered situation.

Our room was spectacular!!! SOOO spacious and clean!!!! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a true "handicap accessible " shower, which is not the case in many hotels that advertise as handicap accessible!
Breakfast was good, coffee was delicious!
Extra quilt and pillows in the closet...we appreciated all the little extras! We would definitely stay again!

Front desk person was very hard to understand. My husband had to travel alone due to an unexpected emergency where I could not go. I called to advise them that it was under my name but my husband would be there and the room was paid in full in January, Same credit card number just the first name. Manager said no worries he would just need his ID. Upon arrival front desk person with very limited English said that he was not allowed. Another manager came and made me send a copy of my drivers license with a note stating I allowed my husband to stay. WTF!!!!! Poor customer service…
