We love the balconies looking over downtown Roanoke and the staff at this hotel is impeccable.

We love this hotel especially the location. Walking distance to all of downtown Roanoke.

We were unhappy with the mattresses. The insides of both mattresses were worn down. Once we realized this the next night we slept on the middle to outsides and were fine.

The room was very clean, modern and comfortable - a very impressive start. The breakfast options were good and the biscuits were outstanding.
Negatives:
The TV in our room did not work. A staff person came up right away and did a quick fix but it did not last. We ended up watching from our iPad. The biggest turnoffs were that the hotel charged for parking and wifi. I think that these should have been provided given the price of the hotel and the supposed quality of the Hampton Inn brand.
