Red Lion Hotel Yakima Center

Negatives: First off they parked us in the back 40 so if we needed anything it was going to happen. When we got into our room there was no fridge or coffee pot. I called and asked why and got no response from front desk. We had bought food for the tournament for my family and had no way to keep it cold. I had to get a little grumpy to even have them look for a coffee pot because they refused to make coffee at the front desk for me. For being a red lion I had other expectations for them and was disappointed when they ran their grounds like a 2 star hotel.

Negatives: Bathroom needs a grab bar for getting out of the shower.

Negatives: I really hate to complain because your staff were very nice, but Both rooms were dirty, the bathroom were not clean at all the beds were made but when I pulled back the covers there were stains in the beds, we alway bring our own bedding this time I’m glad we did, we slept on top over the covers, as I stated the bathroom was not clean at all the toilet had not been cleaned nor had the tub, it was really bad, my family didn’t take showers. But your staff at check in and check out was very nice, but we will never start at the Red Lion again.

Negatives: It was noisy past midnight, security seemed to be lax since there were people coming in from under the fence at one point

Negatives: A lot of small hairs imbedded in my shower curtain and hair around the edge of my tub

Negatives: When I used the microwave and the TV, there was a power surge and the outlet blew up. I had to have the microwave moved to the writing desk and I had to drag the fridge to the other end of the room because the other outlet is attached to light switches and if I want the fridge to work and not have all of my stuff melt, I would have to keep the lights on all day and night. My room was not as clean. There was a used wash cloth with pubic hair hanging on the shower rod, coffee splashes in the sink, and I had no clean wash cloths. I never received the extra blankets I asked for. There is NO SUB FLOOR so I could hear every sound coming from the room upstairs. The maintenance man heard the racket while he was trying to help with the electrical issues and felt bad for me and put in a noise complaint on my behalf. People came back to the room at 3:55am and all hours of the day and night which is fine IF there was a SUBFLOOR so the people on the first floor do not have to suffer the noise. I had very poor sleep and a headache the entire time. $322.00 for three nights of distress is too much.

Negatives: Property felt empty. Room was a long ways from front. Area around hotel didn’t feel safe to walk in.
