This was not the cleanest La Quinta, but it wasn't offensive. The bed was clean, made up for sleeping, and I like not having a bedspread (which I remove immediately). It's located in a very busy area, near many restaurants and most well-known stores; but it is set back away from traffic. This one is very pet friendly.
