We just came back from a fantastic trip to Harrisburg to visit our son in school and this hotel was fantastic. I will start by explaining two things; 1- I never give a 5 star rating because nothing is ever perfect, but La Quinta in Harrisburg sure comes close. 2- I am a bit of a germaphob, so staying at hotels bothers me a bit in general, however, this hotel is centrally located, extremely pet friendly, clean and neat. We arrived early evening and was checked in and settled within just a few minutes. Our tired pup was glad to finally have somewhere to get comfortable. There were two designated places for dogs to do their business with cans and bags to boot! Fantastic! As long as people clean up after their pets, no issues whatsoever. The room was clean and neat. There was no smoke/mildew or musty smell at all. A few vocal dogs on the floor could be heard, but nothing that bothered us at all and certainly nothing that kept us up at night. We were quite happy with our stay. I don't eat "out" so I can't review how the breakfast was, however, there was a nice variety of choices and fresh hot coffee to get us back on the road.
