Hopkins Ordinary is a pet friendly bed and breakfast inn located in the historic village of Sperryville, Virginia, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Hopkins Ordinary was built around 1820 by John Hopkins, who opened a roadside inn and tavern that also served as a stagecoach stop. In those days, it was known as an Ordinary, serving the “ordinary” needs of the traveler.
A delicious breakfast is served every morning and includes fresh-baked breads, home-made cheeses, and the freshest eggs, meat and produce grown and raised by our neighboring farms.
The pet friendly Garden Cottage is separate from the Inn and has a kitchen, two bedrooms, one bath, living space, and a wrap-around porch. Breakfast is included and it sleeps up to 5.
