In Cabin/Carry-On Pet Fee:  $35 one-way (within the State of Hawaii), $175 one-way (between Hawaii and Mainland) Pets are not allowed to fly in cabin/carry-on into the state of Hawaii or on international flights.

Maximum Weight Allowed:  The total weight of the animal(s) and the container must not exceed 25 pounds.

Carrier Guidelines:  For pets traveling in cabin/carry-on, the maximum size pet travel carrier allowed is 16" L x 10" W x 9.5" H. The maximum weight for pet and kennel is 25 lbs.  Carriers must be soft-sided and leak-proof, and large enough for the pet to sit, stand upright, turn around, and lay down in a natural position.  Pets are required to stay in their carriers while in the terminal and onboard the aircraft.

Cargo Area/Checked Baggage Pet Fee:  $60 one-way (within the State of Hawaii), $225 (between Hawaii, Mainland, and South Pacific)

For pets traveling as checked baggage, the maximum size pet travel carrier allowed for 717 aircraft is 40" L x 27" W x 30" H and 48" L x 32" W x 35" H for 767 aircraft. The maximum weight for pet and kennel is 70 lbs.  The travel kennel must be hard-sided.

Pet Quarantine:  The State of Hawaii is a rabies-free state. That's why all animals originating from a point outside the Hawaiian Islands must clear quarantine at the first point of entry (either Honolulu or Kahului for Hawaiian Airlines Cargo flights).
