Biscayne National Park protects the shallow southern portion of Biscayne Bay, mangrove frest along the mainland shoreline, a portion of the world's third-longest living coral reef and the northernmost Florida Keys. Pets must be kept on a leash that is no longer than six feet and are only permitted at Convoy Point and in the developed areas of Elliott Key.
