Evidence that a prehistoric culture once inhabited the park has been found, and it is now a national historic landmark, a UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations site, and a World Heritage site. Well-mannered, leashed dogs are allowed to tour the grounds with you, provided you clean up any messes that occur. Dogs are not allowed in an buildings.
