It is also dedicated to Kentucky's first pioneers, whose brave spirit helped shape the state's history. The site is fun for the whole family -- have a picnic, browse the gift shop, or enjoy some mini-golf. You can even bring Rover -- dogs are allowed throughout the grounds, but they are not permitted to enter buildings. Remember to keep your pet leashed and under your control for your entire visit.
